There are modern toilets across the road from the Cobweb Inn and there are shops which can supply basic needs. There is no petrol or diesel available locally.

Eating drinking and entertainment

There are two pubs at the bottom of the village and there are restaurants in the

Riverside Hotel, Wellington Hotel and the Rocket Store plus coffee and tea shops.
